First Trailer For Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, Along With Poster

The first trailer for the forthcoming Harry Potter spinoff, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them has been released, as well as a new poster. The movie is still in the production phase but the makers have planned a November 2016 release.

The movie follows Newt Scamander, played by Eddie Redmayne, who carries with him a briefcase that holds several magical creatures. During his stay in New York, a Muggle named No-Maj causes some of the fantastic beasts to escape, putting the Wizards and Muggle in trouble. The cast will include Katherine Waterston, Alison Sudol, Ezra Miller, Dan Fogler, Colin Farrell and Jenn Murray.

David Yates will be helming the project with David Heyman producing. J.K. Rowling and Steve Kloves will once again write the script. Lionel Wigram will act as executive producer. The screenplay will be written by J.K. Rowling herself. Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them will be released on November 18 next year.
