Sonal Chauhan Talks About Size Zero

Actress Sonal Chauhan will soon be seen in the upcoming film Size Zero. The movie will feature Anushka Shetty and Sonal in lead roles. Sonal recently opened up about the film and the character she portrays.

 She stated, “I was a little sceptical when I was first approached, because this is a film about a girl who is overweight, so how am I going to fit in? But when Prakash narrated the script to me, I realised all three characters – Arya, Anushka and I – play very important roles”. She added, “Every time you see a girl, who’s good looking, fit and well-dressed, immediately the perception is that ‘oh, she must be a bitch’. So we are trying to change that stereotype in people’s heads, i.e, a good looking girl can also be a nice person”.

Talking about the movie, Sonal recalled an incidence from her life and said, “Though I have been slim all my life, there was a time just after Miss World Tourism pageant, when I had inadvertently put on a bit of weight. As soon as I returned, my mom and a few of my friends pointed out that I had put on weight and that affected me. So, then I did something which one mustn’t do. I decided to stop eating altogether and that was detrimental to my well-being. My face started looking haggard and the charm was missing. Luckily for me, I got out of it very quickly but this issue continues to exist even today”.
