Ali Fazal Opens Up About His Marriage Proposal Tweet

Many tweets of Bollywood stars are misinterpreted for their real life incidents while they are actually promotional gimmicks for their upcoming films. In contrast to what happens usually, Ali Fazal’s tweet regarding his proposal to his girlfriend was speculated as a promotional stunt for the Fukrey actor’s upcoming web series titled ‘Bang Baaja Baaraat’, which is incidentally about marriages. What is even more interesting is that the actor, who also featured in Hollywood flick Furious 7, has recently clarified the same to PTI.

“The trailer came around the same time so people thought that but this is no promotional stunt. I have made the proposal. That was something in the moment and I tweeted. There is something personal. I am going through a phase in my life right now”, Fazal told PTI about his “special someone”.

He added, “I have been so closed about my life that me tweeting this is… was random… I don’t know what to say”. When probed about his plans of marriage, the actor said, “I am not getting married right now. I can’t say when marriage will happen. There is no date”.
