Raj Kundra’s debut book ‘How Not to Make Money’ will reportedly be made into a Hollywood crime-thriller film of same name. ‘The Bank Job’ fame Ian La Frenais is writing the screenplay of the film. “Ian was the producers first and only choice”, said Raj Kundra.

Raj said in a statement, “It was so lovely to meet Ian over dinner in Mumbai. He is a fantastic guy who loves India and it’s a huge honour for me that such quality and awarded screenplay writers were selected by the UK producers, to write the screenplay adapted from my book. We have been speaking on and off for the past two years discussing the characters and events since the book is based on a true story. I am looking forward to seeing my book turn into a movie and I know it’s going to be an edge of the seat British crime thriller”.

The book is based on a true story of 3 friends- Jai, Mike and Aziz, who wants to get rich. Talking about these characters, Raj told Mumbai Mirror, “The three boys are doing something completely wrong with all their heart. Their word is their word and this is a quality I admire most in people”.
