Charles Xavier Will be Part of Wolverine 3

Aceshowbiz has reported that Sir Patrick Stewart will reprise his role as Professor Charles Xavier in the forthcoming Wolverine movie. Wolverine 3 will be Hugh Jackman’s last portrayal as the clawed mutant. Stewart himself confirmed his presence in the movie an also added that it won’t be just a cameo.

Stuart said, “I think what you say is true. There is a project in development. I understand that Professor Xavier will be making more than an appearance, however, and that intrigues me”. He jokingly added, “And the idea of an old Wolverine - I'm really looking forward to Hugh Jackman getting old. You know, damn him. He looks so great! So I'm hoping to see him covered in prosthetics, you know? And then he'll make me look better if that's the case”.

He hinted that the story may follow the 2008 comic storyline of Old Man Logan. Directed by James Mangold, the movie will be released on March 3, 2017. Stan Lee will be the executive producer for the project and Lauren Shuler Donner will produce the film.
