Kareena Kapoor Opts Out of Section 84

The grapevine is abuzz with rumours that Kareen Kapoor has walked out of upcoming film Section 84, in which she was supposed to play a schizophrenic prostitute. The film is helmed by Raj Kumar Gupta. Reportedly, the actress isn’t happy with the final script of the film.

The film has faced lot of obstacles in the past. Initially, Salman Khan had to produce the film but it did not happen. Then, the shooting schedule of the film was postponed. Now, Kareena Kapoor has opted out of the project.

Talking to mirror, the director earlier talked about Kareena’s role in the film. He said, “Yes. Section 84 is an integral part of the film and Kareena is my protagonist. It's a character with two sides. Trouble begins when she steps out of a mental asylum. The film is inspired by a reallife incident. We start shooting in mid-April”.
