Ahan Shetty wanted to join Indian Army
Ahan Shetty is all set to make his Bollywood debut with Tadap, which would hit theatres this week on the 3rd of December. The film is a remake of RX100 and stars Tara Sutaria as the female lead. This is a crucial film since Ahan Shetty will be launching his career with the project, and a lot of hopes are riding on this. But did you know that Ahan wanted to be a part of the Indian Army initially?
In an exclusive interview with us, Ahan revealed that he always loved acting, but aspired to be a part of The Indian Army. However, it was probably his love for acting that won. He said, "For me it was more about- I loved acting, that's what I wanted to do. So yeah, I mean that was there ever since I was in school, also subconsciously because my father was an actor. I wanted to do what my father was doing. But before that, I wanted to join the Indian Army- that was my goal, that was my focus. Then I started acting. Yeah, I mean, I couldn't say I was dying to join the industry, but because I loved acting so much, it kind of guided me towards the industry."
Ahan is the son of Suniel Shetty. Both his father, and sister Athiya Shetty are part of the film industry. In Tadap, he will play the character of Ishana, who is madly in love with Tara's character, Ramisha. Are you excited to see Ahan's performance in the film? Let us know in the comments below.
