Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt want Brahmastra to release before they tie the knot; wedding date pushed yet again

Last year when Bollywood heartthrob Ranbir Kapoor was asked about his wedding plans, he revealed that he wants to ‘tick mark that goal’ very soon in life. Then in August 2021, actress Lara Dutta stated that he and Alia Bhatt are getting married this year itself. Well, ever since then many rumors have been doing the rounds. While some reports suggested that Ranbir and Alia are scouting wedding locations in Rajasthan, others claimed that they have pushed their wedding to early next year but plan on getting engaged this month. Amid these reports, Ayan Mukerji dropped BTS snaps of their upcoming film Brahmāstra.

Well, a report shared by Bollywood Life has now shared that the couple has pushed the wedding date again, and one reason behind this is their film’s release. A source was quoted saying, “Firstly, they have choc-a-bloc shoot schedules for their respective films. December is around the corner now and everything will be in full-on action mode next year. Secondly, the two plan a destination wedding, outside India and therefore, arrangements and prepping will take some time. They will also go on a long break before and after the wedding.”

The source went on to add, “Third and one of the most important reasons perhaps is their film Brahmastra. The film’s team, as well as Ranbir and Alia, wanted the film to release before they officially become man and wife. And now, with the film releasing in September 2022, a wedding towards the end of next year or early 2023 can be possible.”

So basically Alia and Ranbir’s fans have two exciting events to look forward to!
