Bigg Boss 15: Akasa talks about comparisons with Neha Bhasin; says ‘Pratik & I shared a strong friendship’

Akasa Singh and Pratik Sehajpal became pretty great friends in the first few weeks of Bigg Boss season 15. She and Nishant Bhat were his biggest support systems in the house when everyone else stood against him, but Akasa also made sure to tell him where he went wrong. Exactly what a good friend would do. But their bond was often compared to Pratik and Neha Bhasin’s friendship in BB OTT. Some even claimed that Akasa was trying to copy Neha and accused her of faking a friendship only for the game.

Well, in a recent chat with Spotboye, Akasa opened up about the same. The Naagin singer explained that she likes Pratik for the human being that he is, the way he is as a person, and their bond was not for the show. She went on to add, “If I knew how to like or dislike or use someone for the game, I'm pretty sure I would be in the show. And I would be playing much better. I, unfortunately, did not know how to do this or play the game that way.”

Talking about Neha, who entered the house as a wild card contestant, Akasa stated, “When it comes to Neha, I never watched a single episode of OTT. And I did on purpose; I didn't because I didn't want any preconceived notions about anyone. So whatever comparison happened, I don't think there was any similarity. It was just maybe the fact that there is a reality show and there is a singer maybe that people must be comparing but I don't think there was any similarity in that because it was I don't know. I will have to watch OTT to figure out exactly. But I think Pratik and I shared a very strong friendship.”
