Sardar Udham trailer: Vicky Kaushal excels as the forgotten revolutionary who avenged the Jallianwala Bagh massacre; watch

The trailer of Vicky Kaushal starrer Sardar Udham is out. The film, that brings Vicky back to the audience after Bhoot: The Haunted Ship, is about the story of the revolutionary who avenged the Jallianwalabagh massacre singlehandedly. And going by the trailer, we just can't wait to see it.

The trailer begins with the British saying that Indians never forget the wrong that was done to them and would strike even after 20 years. The story then goes to focus on Udham Singh, the man who waited and trained for 21 years to assassinate the British officer behind the Jallianwalabagh massacre. It shows how he changed names, forged passports and reached London. Not just that, he trained himself to be able to carry it out.

We also see Sardar Udham trying to assimilate more people who would want to avenge the horrific incident. We also get a glimpse of him being captured and tortured by the British.

What is interesting to note is that Vicky would portray the journey of these 21 years- of a boy of 19 growing to a man of 40 years who is finally able to avenge a massacre. Vicky Kaushal looks perfect for the role and he shows the grit and determination in his body language. Check out the trailer here:
