Bell Bottom Box Office Day 1: Akshay Kumar starrer has a slow start, collects around 2.50 crores
Bell Bottom Box Office Day 1
Akshay Kumar has become the beacon of hope as his film, Bell Bottom was the first to open in theatres after restrictions were lifted. Many theatres across the nation have not opened up yet, and there had been a legit concern about whether the halls will witness enough footfalls. But, with Akshay's mass appeal, it was hoped that he would be able to attract the audience to the halls again. Well, he did manage to do so on the first day, but the numbers aren't that high.
Akshay Kumar's Bell Bottom managed to collect around 2.50 crores INR on the first day of its release. The film collected somewhere around 2.40 crores- 2.60 crores INR. Yes, it could not go past the 3 crore mark and to give you an idea, the collection was lower than that of Rajkummar Rao, Janhvi Kapoor and Varun Sharma starrer Roohi. Even the opening day collection of Mumbai Saga was better at 2.82 crores INR.
However, given that the film released on a Thursday, we can hope that the collection would just go higher over the weekend. The collection should see steady growth, as would be the occupancy. This should easily cross 10 crores over the weekend.
