Midweek B.0. – Roy dips, Shamitabh derailed

The negative reviews in all totality may not have done too much harm to the business of Roy as the film has been able to register a decent opening weekend figure and a sustained 2 week day collections.

The film after having garnered almost 28 crores in the opening weekend added around 7 crores through Monday and Tuesday taking its tally around 35 crores. While the collections are undoubtedly on the lower side, it is still noted that the low cost of the film might just make the makers go home safe. The film has been welcomed with some extremely poor reviews and has disappointed the viewers too.

Meanwhile Balki’s Shamitabh has lost its grip completely. The film will end up entailing looses to the producers as the number has only been around 20 crores even after the second weekend. With this, the film comes as a disaster to the acclaimed filmmaker. Let’s see what Badlapur does to the equation this Friday.
