Aashka Goradia Announces Her Decision To Quit Acting To Pursue Her 'Other Dream': 'Felt It’s Time I Tell Everyone'

Popular TV actress Aashka Goradia has decided to quit acting in favour of pursuing her other dream –business. She opened up about this crucial life decision in an interview and revealed that entrepreneurship was always her plan and that acting happened to her by chance.

Aashka, who is currently living in Goa with husband Brent Goble, was last seen on the TV show Daayan in 2019. Talking to Bombay Times about quitting acting the Kkusum actress said, “I was only 16 when I moved to Mumbai, but while pursuing my acting career, I had this business virus in me, to do something in the world out there and that has finally happened. So, I felt it’s time I tell everyone that acting, for now, is going on a break as I pursue my other dream.”

Known for a variety of roles in her acting career of over 15 years, Aashka insists that the lack of good roles or the content of TV shows wasn’t the reason behind her decision. She’s simply quitting because she wants to do something else.

Quizzed if she’ll ever return to acting or is it goodbye forever, the Naagin actress stated, “For now, it is a goodbye. Whether this sabbatical is temporary or permanent, time will tell, but I know that I am not taking up anything in acting in the coming future. Entrepreneurship and the shuttling between Ahmedabad and Goa keeps me busy.”
