Saina Teaser: Parineeti Chopra Looks Fierce & Focused As The Badminton Champion In A Film About Beating The Odds

Parineeti Chopra Saina is all set for the theatres this month and with just weeks to go for the release the makers have released the first teaser of this sports drama. Parineeti who plays badminton champion Saina Nehwal in this biopic narrates the tale of the sports icon in the powerful first glimpses from the film.

Saina’s determination to beat her opponents definitely shines through in this teaser which tells how she was always different. How Saina made her badminton racquet her sword to fight society’s stereotypes and succeeded as an international sports personality through ups and downs is what the film aims to showcase.

Parineeti looks fierce and focused as Sania and promises a performance that could be one of her very best so far. The actress this year is breaking her own barriers with two very different films. The Girl On The Train which released on Netflix last month was the first and now Saina will again see her doing something different.

At 30 Saina Nehwal has 5 Common Wealth Games medals, 1 Olympic medal, 2 Aisan Games medals, and has been a former World Champion in Badminton. The biopic on her journey helmed by Amol Gupte will hit the silver screen on March 26.
