Boney Kapoor Opens Up About His Acting Stint, Says He Feels More 'Relieved' As An Actor Than As A Producer

Boney Kapoor has been a part of a filmy family for decades and is himself one of the biggest producers of the industry. He is known to one and all. Yet, at the age of 65, he took on a new challenge as he stepped into the shoes of an actor and signed Luv Ranjan's upcoming film starring Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor. He has also shot for his parts. Now, Boney Kapoor has finally opened up about the experience of being an actor.

Talking to ETimes, he said that being an actor is more relieving than a producer. “As a producer, I have to look into everything. I go to set to see if my cast and crew are comfortable. Here since I was an actor, the production was taking care of me. I was much more relieved as an actor,” he quipped.

Boney Kapoor signed the film on son Arjun Kapoor's insistence and he would play Ranbir Kapoor's father in the yet-to-be-titled film. He would be seen alongside Dimple Kapadia, who would essay the role of the actor''s on-screen mother. They are people who Boney Kapoor has known for years and he had even added that Ranbir has literally grown up in front of him. We are waiting eagerly to see this avatar of the celeb.
