Mani Ratnam's Kadal nears completion

In a good news to fans of renowned filmmaker Mani Ratnam, the directors next project Kadal has neared its completion. According to reports, the cast and crew of the film is busy wrapping up the final schedule of shooting in Vembanad Lake, Kerala, which is also the favourite location of the filmmaker. The film has reportedly been made with a whopping budget of Rs. 50 crore and the ace director has shot it at a few unexplored locations in Andaman. The film stars Gautham Karthik and yesteryear actress Radhas younger daughter Thulasi in the lead roles, besides featuring Arjun, Nayantara, Lakshmi Manchu, Pasupathy, Thambi Ramaih in the key roles. The film is scheduled to hit the theatres towards the end of this year.
