Bigg Boss 14 Day 9: Sara Gurpal Evicted From The Show; Pavitra Punia Bonds With Eijaz Khan

After a scary Weekend Ka Vaar with host and superstar Salman Khan, Bigg Boss 14 housemates faced their first nominations on day 9 of the show. But that’s just one of the events that took place in the house on Monday. The day began with Nikki Tamboli happily ironing her ex boyfriend’s boxers while Pavitra Punia and Jaan Kumar Sanu laughed away, talking about how the boxers deserve to be auctioned. Nikki then returns to her bed and chats with new BFFs Jaan and Nishant Singh Malkhani. They discuss how Rubina Dilaik is always calling everyone ‘babu’ but her tone is just dominating.

Jaan and Nishant also mimic the actress and then talk about her thoughts on washing utensils. For the uninitiated, Rubina feels that one person should wash utensils before everyone eats dinner while another should wash them after dinner. However, Jaan feels all utensils should be washed together. He then goes outside to the garden area and gives Rubina a piece of his mind, who later tells Sara Gurpal and husband Abhinav Shukla that Jaan is ‘bewakuf’. Most of the house feels that the singer is being manipulated by Nikki. Jasmin Bhasin also asks him to stop behaving like a sidekick.

Then begins a discussion about who will take what from the BB Mall. Well, Jasmin strikes a deal with Hina and agrees to do a task for three items. Hina asks her to decide who will get what but Jasmin has to give valid reasons in front of the other housemates. After arguing for quite some time, Jasmin gives up her items for two packets of salami offered to her by Gauahar Khan. Finally the nomination task begins in which housemates are asked to paste a picture of their chosen fresher on a pot and break it while revealing why they want to nominate him/her. The celebs don’t hold back and share their honest opinion about their competitors. In the end Nishant, Rahul Vaidya, Shehzad Deol, Jaan, Sara, Eijaz Khan and Abhinav emerge as the nominated contestants.

But as Salman Khan said, ab scene paltega! Bigg Boss leaves the housemates in shock when he gives seniors Sidharth Shukla, Hina and Gauahar the special power to choose one of the nominated participants for direct eviction. Bigg Boss also clarifies that it's 'nothing personal'. While Hina and Gauahar are confused between Nishant and Rahul, Sidharth makes it clear that he wants Sara out of the game. Hina and Gauahar try to persuade him and even tell him that Sara has been unwell, she deserves a chance to prove herself. But Sidharth is not ready to budge and the two divas eventually give in. Sara and the rest of the housemates are heartbroken whereas Nishant and Rahul take the close call as a warning to pull up their socks.

Thus begins a new journey for the two and new bonds are made. Rahul, Nishant and Jaan break the ice and bury the hatchet, ending their cold war with a warm hug. They call Nikki over for a group hug and give us the first group of Bigg Boss 14. Meanwhile, Pavitra regrets nominating Eijaz and realizes that he could have been the one to leave the house instead of Sara, because of her vote. She tries her best to make up for it and bonds with the actor. However, it looks like something more than friendship is cooking between the two because Rahul and Jaan begin singing Inteha Ho Gayi Intezaar Ki in the background. Pavitra showers him with hugs and kisses and also admits that she was jealous because he was lending clothes to other female contestants. Will BB14 soon get its first couple?
