Sushant's Family Lawyer Vikas Singh Declines Suicide Theory
Sushant Singh Rajput's final forensic reports are awaited while the deceased actor's family maintains that his death is not a case of suicide but murder. Getting impatient for the CBI investigation to come to a conclusion Sushant's family's lawyer Vikas Singh tweeted alleging that the actor was strangulated.
Earlier today, Sushant’s family lawyer Vikas Singh released a statement declining the suicide theory as he alleged that the actor died ‘by strangulation’. As per a report in Times now, Vikas Singh has alleged, ‘SSR death by strangulation, not suicide.’”
He also wrote in a tweet, "Getting frustrated by the delay in CBI taking a decision to convert abetment to suicide to Murder of SSR. The Doctor who is part of AIIMS team had told me long back that the photos sent by me indicated 200% that it’s death by strangulation and not suicide."
A special forensic team from AIIMS was assigned to reevaluate the Chhihore actor’s cause of demise and are yet to turn in their report.
Responding to advocate Vikas Gupta's 'strangulation' claims, Dr. Sudhir Gupta, Head of the Forensic Department at AIIMS tells Times Now, “No conclusion or conclusion opinion of homicide or suicide could be made by seeing ligature marks and scene of occurrence. It’s difficult for doctors and next to impossible for general people, needed solely internal link discretion and forensic interpretation.”
The actor died on June 14, 2020, and during the investigation, the Mumbai Police declared it was a case of suicide. Thereafter, Sushant’s father, KK Singh, filed a case against Rhea Chakraborty in Patna for abetment to suicide. Post which, the CBI began probe.
