Rhea Chakraborty On Being Targeted: We Are Cooperating, If You Don't Have Faith In The Legal System, You Should Leave India

Rhea Chakraborty has finally broken her silence on all the allegations she’s facing and countered all claims painting her as the culprit in Sushant Singh rajput’s death. The actress also responded to Sushant’s father Mr. K.K. Singh calling her a murderer who poisoned his son in a recent video.

The actress while talking to NDTV has said ,“It's hurtful that someone who is going through a loss this big can't understand what this could be doing to me. I loved his son. It’s beyond me to understand, is there no humanity? I looked after his son. Even if you didn't like me as his girlfriend, at least have that humanity now that he has passed, at least the love he had for me. If not me, respect him.” 

The actress is being blamed of Sushant’s death in a big public trial and the actress has confessed that she and her family are being harassed with death threats and mobs gathering outside her home. In a video she shared yesterday the actress asked for police protection for her family and also revealed how her watchman was hurt by the media that gathered there.

Peaking about being harassed she told the channel, “My WhatsApp chats are out there. They were only given to agencies. My friends' numbers are being flashed on TV. That's why I decided to speak up. The one-sided narrative is destroying my family. The Enforcement Directorate wants to know the financial details. I am willing to cooperate with everyone. All I ask for is a fair trial. You are breaking down a simple, innocent, middle-class family.”

The actress also added, “We are cooperating, we are being a part of every investigation, we are doing all our duties as law-abiding citizens. But why can't you wait for the result to come? And if you don't have faith in the legal system, you should leave India.”

Rhea has also claimed that Sushant was in touch with his family and denied allegations of trying to cut him off. She has stated that the family was informed that the late actor was depressed.
