Randeep Hooda To Begin Shooting For Mard In Lucknow Soon, Reveals Producer

The coronavirus induced lockdown has led to the shutting down of many films. There have been many new releases that are on hold and no new films are hitting the theatres anymore as the cinema halls are shut!

Randeep Hooda’s Mard produced by Rahul Mittra was supposed to begin its shooting schedule in the month of May and it is already June. However, the producer is hopeful that things will begin soon.

In an interview with Bombay Times, producer Rahul Mittra said Mard had to be stopped due to lockdown. He has been quoted by the publication as saying, "Mard was to go on the floors this may for which my pre-production had begun in March first week but then had to be stopped days before the lockdown. Now that things are opening up and one hears about shoots beginning soon in Mumbai and other places, I’ve started engaging with the UP government for help & clarity on shoot in UP.”
