Karan Johar Puts An End To Rumours Stating He'll Launch Asim Riaz With Suhana Khan In SOTY 3 Says, 'Stop! Please!'

Ever since Bigg Boss 13 went off air rumours have been doing the rounds that Asim Riaz will be launched in Bollywood opposite Shah Rukh Khan’s daughter Suhana Khan. The TV actor may not have won Bigg Boss but these rumours certainly made it sound that he got something much bigger than the title out of his popularity earned on the reality show.

Reports suggested that Karan Johar is keen to cast Suhana and Asim in the third installment of Student Of The Year. The franchise has been the launchpad for stars like Alia Bhatt, Sidharth Malhotra, Varun Dhawan, Tara Sutaria and Ananya Pandey.

After the news went viral Karan Johar has responded to it saying that it is completely untrue. The filmmaker clarified in a tweet, “Absolutely baseless stories making the rounds of SOTY3 !!!! My request to everyone publishing this fabrication is to kindly Stop! Please!”

Karan Johar is Suhana Khan’s godfather and a very dear friend of Shah Rukh Khan but it looks like the rumors mills went too far this time in the anticipation of her debut. All of 19, Suhana is presently studying in New York and it is unlikely she will be making her debut in the near future till her education is complete.
