Ayushmann Khurrana in Bollywood is currently the man with a Midas touch. Whatever he is touching is literally turning out to be gold. While he has been consistently loved as a performer, from last year his box-office kismet has been somewhat legendary and the killer opening numbers of his recent film Dream Girl is a testament to that.

However, it is hardly an anomaly given his debut film Vicky Donor earned an almost 700% profit. Made on a shoe-string budget of just 5 crores which starred two debutantes and was based on a whacky topic like sperm-donation not only became a phenomenal success but also set trends for upcoming films. The film actually went on to collect a total of Rs. 54.50 crores which is almost 700% more than the Rs. 5 crores budget. Even the biggest stars of the industry cannot claim to have made such profits on their films.

Talking about his upcoming projects, Ayushmann is one of the busiest actors in the industry right now. He will next be seen in Amar Kaushik’s where he will be reuniting with his Vicky Donor And Dum Laga Ke Haisha co-stars Yami Gautam and Bhumi Pednekar. He will also share the screen with Amitabh Bachchan for the first time in Gulaabo Sitabo and of course star in the Shubh Mangal Saavadhan sequel Shubh Mangal Zyaada Saavdhaan.
