Anil Kapoor Dedicates Mr.India’s 32nd Anniversary To Veeru Devgan

Whether you consider iconic characters or box-office numbers, Mr. India will always be one of the most iconic films of Bollywood ever. Directed by Shekhar Kapur, this film was a trendsetter in more ways than one and the songs and dialogues from the film are known by every Bollywood fans out there.

The cast and crew of the film employed some of the best in the industry including the likes of Oscar winner Bhanu Atthaiya and of course the revered stunt director Veeru Devgan. In an unfortunate turn of events Veeru Devgan recently left for his heavenly abode on 27^th May, 2019 and two days after the incident, Anil Kapoor dedicated the 32^nd anniversary to the man who made some of the most iconic scenes from the film possible.

Kapoor took to social media and wrote, “#MrIndia was made iconic by its children friendly action scenes & Veeru’s Midas touch. I want to dedicate its 32nd anniversary to the man who made these unforgettable moments possible. #VeeruDevgan was an amazing man & I'm lucky to have worked with him. He is sorely missed...”

It was truly a heart-touching moment and it once again reminded us that the man who brought some of the most iconic action scenes in the history of Indian cinema, to life, is indeed no more. But his work will always be there for us to marvel at and remember him by.
