Ananya Panday Reveals That Unlike Her Character In SOTY 2, She Was Bullied At School And Called Hunchback

Ananya Pandey is already on the list of crushes for many youngsters even before Student Of The Year 2 has hit the screens. Many might therefore find it shocking that during her school days the actress has been bullied about the way she looked during her school days. All set to play a student in the glamorous St. Teresa’s of Student Of The Year, Ananya did not have an equally glamorous school life.

Talking to TOI about trolls on social media Ananya said that those comments don’t bother her as she has learnt how to cope with bullying in her school days itself. “In my school, we wore uniforms and couldn't apply nail polish or kajal. I had so many problems like body issues, stress and exams. I am really skinny even though I eat like a beast. Everyone wants to have a curvy body and look a certain way, but I think now I am comfortable in my skin. In school, I would always be uncomfortable because my skirt would expose my thin, chicken legs and wiry hands. I would get called a hunchback as I am tall and would always bend down to hear people. This is the reason trolls don’t affect me, as I have been bullied in school,” the actress said in her interview.

Well, we are glad that Ananya came out stronger learning from experiences at schools and can put up with the mean and meaningless comments of the trollers. Ananya is busy promoting Student Of The Year 2 which is releasing in theatres this Friday. The actress has a second project already, Pati Patni Aur Woh with Katrtik Aayan and Bhumi Pednekar.
