Inshallah: Twitteratis Dig Up Salman Khan’s Photo With A Baby Alia Bhatt As Sanjay Leela Bhansali Announces Film Starring Both
Actors Alia Bhatt and Salman Khan are all set to come together for the first time in the next Sanjay Leela Bhansali film, Inshallah. Salman had last worked with Sanjay in the 1999 blockbuster Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam, also featuring Aishwarya Rai and Ajay Devgn. While the fans are still speculating over the story of the film and the 30-year age gap between the lead actors, the internet can’t stop gushing about the new pairing.
After an official announcement by Salman and Alia, Twitter users flooded the social networking site with throwback pictures of Salman, Alia and Sanjay, giving us a major dose of nostalgia. A fan shared a throwback picture of Salman and Alia and captioned it, “Who would’ve thought they will work together as a lead pair. #Inshallah.”
Another user shared a throwback picture of Salman and Sanjay and wrote, “Sanjay Leela Bhansali made one of the biggest budgeted grand films like #BajiraoMastani & #Padmaavat with actor like RanveerSingh then imagine what will he do with THE SALMAN KHAN. It is guaranteed 2020s biggest movie. You simply can’t question SLB’s potential. #Inshallah.”
A fan even devised the joint hashtag #Salmalia soon after the film announcement. He tweeted, “Okay, so #Salmalia it is.... Had heard this on the day, film was announced last month.... A magnificent cast to be directed by a loved personality, and an upfront mass title, #Inshallah. This is indeed the BIGGEST film of 2020. @BeingSalmanKhan @aliaa08 #SanjayLeelaBhansali.”
Salman welcomed Alia on board Inshallah and wrote, “It’s been 20 years but I am glad Sanjay and I are finally back in his next film, Inshallah. Looking forward to work with Alia and inshallah we will all be blessed on this journey.” Alia, on her part, shared, “Dream with your eyes wide open they say & I did. Sanjay Sir and Salman Khan are magical together & I can’t wait to join them on this beautiful journey called Inshallah.” She also tweeted, “I was 9 when I first walked into Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s office, all nervous and hoping and praying that I would be in his next film. It’s been a long wait.”
