Sanjay Dutt finally opens up about his cancer journey, calls his doctor 'Real-Life Munna Bhai MBBS'

Sanjay Dutt was diagnosed with stage-4 lung cancer in August 2020 after he kept ignoring persistent backache for days

Sanjay was shooting for his film Shamshera, when the news was abruptly broken to him.

The actor shared that he was alone at the hospital when he recieved the news. He said his sister Priya Dutt, who is a politician and an activist, rushed to him.

Sanjay shared how both his mom and first wife, Richa Sharma had died of cancer because of which he was reluctant to take chemotherapy initially.

Sanjay Dutt revealed it was firector and cancer survivor Rakesh Roshan who suggested Dr Sewanti Limaye to him.

Sanjay emerged victorious after his cancer struggle and is currently making headlines for his ripped biceps and triceps in his workout pictures.
