No Entry 2 shelved by Salman Khan: Here's what happened

Salman Khan led sequel of the 2005 comedy, No Entry has reportedly been shelved

The sequel of the blockbuster comedy had been confirmed by filmmaker Anees Bazmee last year.

Anees was ready with the script of the sequel, which salman reportedly thought was the best comedy script he had read in the last decade.

However, the project hit a roadblock as the rights to the orginal film are a held by a film studio that has shut down.

Salman had thought of acquiring the rights from the stakeholders, but apparently the matter is too complicated to resolve.

Salman was to reunite with Anil Kapoor and Fardeen Khan for No Entry 2, in which each of them had triple roles.

The superstar is now looking for new project to devote the 2023 dates he had set aside for No Entry 2 shoot.
