Badhaai Do follows the story of a Gay cop Shardul (Rajkummar Rao) and Lesbian PE teacher Suman ( Bhumi Pednekar ) get into a Lavender Marriage to ward off the family pressure of marriage. But entering this highly debatable setup doesn’t end their woes and new challenges crop up in the story. Directed by Harshvardhan Kulkarni of Hunterrr fame, this social comedy explores the gender equations in a different way and promises to be an engaging entertainer. Chum Darang, Sheeba Chaddha and Seema Pahwa also star in important characters. Here’s our video review of the film:
