Nitu Chandra was replaced by a Khan because she knew martial arts
Nitu Chandra had left us impressed with her performance in films like Garam Masala and Oye Lucky! Lucky Oye! Now, after her stint in the Hindi film industry, Nitu is making her presence felt in the west as well. The actress became a part of Never Back Down franchise with Never Back Down- Revolt where she played the character of Jaya. In an exclusive interview with Zinia Bandyopadhyay, Nitu revealed how she bagged the role and how important her knowledge in Martial Arts especially Taekwondo helped her to get the part. She also revealed how she was once replaced, without any intimation, in a film where she was to share screen with one of the three Khans, because she knew martial arts. Nitu also opened up about how she was approached to be a salaried wife at a low phase in her career. She also talked about her upcoming films and whether any Bollywood film is on the cards.
