The Kashmir Files- Movie Review | Anupam Kher, Mitnun Chakraborty, Darshan Kumar, Bhasha Sumbli, Pallavi Joshi | Vivek Agnihotri
After the critically acclaimed suspense-drama The Tashkent Files , Vivek Agnihotri now returns to direct a gut-wrenching portrayal of the Kashmiri Pandit’s. Starring Anupam Kher, Mithun Chakraborty, Darshan Kumar, Bhasha Sumbli and Pallavi Joshi, the film reflects on the geo-political conflict in the valley that changed the future of a community and forced them to live like migrants in their own country. The Kashmir Files promises to offer a never seen before side of the conflict between Kashmiri Muslims and Kashmiri Hindus. It also aims at showing the audience the grotesque side of the militancy and armed insurgence in the Kashmir valley; and the soul stirring atrocities that the militants committed right before the arrival of a new millennium. Vivek Agnihotri and the makers waited for a long time to release this film with 100% seating in theatres. Find out how far did the film succeed in living up to the expectations in our movie review with Subodh Mishra.
