Amitabh Bachchan stars in National Award winning filmmaker Nagraj Manjule’s debut Hindi film Jhund which arrived in theatres today. The sports drama is a biographical and based on the life of Vijay Basre who introduced the concept of Slum Soccer in the country and made it a national level sporting event.

Amitabh shoulders the role of a retired football coach who takes interest in a bunch of slum kids who live behind his college boundary walls and tries to change their lives by honing their football skills. The film is packed with comedy, drama, emotions and has caught the eye of the audience with its trailer and music.
