When Bigg Boss 17's Abhishek Kumar shared screen with late Sidharth Shukla, revealed what he learnt from his game
Abhishek Kumar once revealed that he shared screen space with late actor Sidharth Shukla in Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania.
Actor Abhishek Kumar, currently stealing the limelight in the popular reality show Bigg Boss 17, once revealed that he shared screen space with late Bigg Boss 13 winner Sidharth Shukla. Before making his TV presence as Amrik Singh in the serial Udaariyaan(2021), the actor had done several small movie roles. In an old interview, the actor opened up about when he first met Shukla on the sets of Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan’s Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania.
Abhishek said that he was part of the crowd in the film’s song Daingad Daingad, that’s where he was awestruck seeing the late actor’s charm. "Toh mein Sidharth sir ke ek baat batata hu. Wo Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania hain na movie, usme mein crowd mein kam kiya. Mein unse waha pe first-time mila tha.Aisa banda lamba chauda kya lag raha hai na, us time woh gaana chal raha tha, daingad daingad.” (I'd like to say something about Sidharth Shukla. I shared the screen with him in the movie Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania, where I was in the crowd. I met him for the first time there.), he said.
Further, Abhishek also revealed what lessons he took from Shukla’s game in Bigg Boss. “"Sidharth sir se ye seekha ki logon ka toh kaam hai kehna, wo kuch bhi bole, aap apna stand lena, proper way se khelna, agar tum ho toh tum akele hi kaafi ho. (I have learned from Sidharth, sir, not to pay heed to what others say. It's their job. You focus on your game and take a stand. You are enough on your own.),” he added.
Meanwhile, Abhishek is one of the strongest contenders in the ongoing Bigg Boss 17. Ankita Lokhande ousted him for slapping fellow contestant Samarth Jurel during a fight but later he re-entered the show.
