Urfi Javed often grabs several eyeballs due to her unique and bold fashion statements. While some fans appreciate her for her sassy and Bindaas avatars, Urfi also faces some nasty trolls who judge her for her sartorial choices. In her latest social media post, she stated how these trolls adversely affect her mentally.
Taking to her Instagram stories, Urfi Javed had stated in a now-deleted post, “The constant bullying, trolling sometimes makes me go crazy. I cry, I cry a lot but I guess life goes on. You just gotta do you, those who don't understand you shouldn't even matter! Usually, I am ok but today is a very rare day where I feel like giving up. It does get me at times! The hate, the abuses, the trolls, the bullying, rape threats, death threats, what not.”
Meanwhile, on the occasion of Eid , Urfi Javed shared a beautiful video of herself in the song ‘ Chandni Raat’ by Ali Sethi. The Kausauti Zindagii Kay actress can be seen wearing a floral-printed light-purple traditional attire in the video. She captioned it stating, “I don’t know why I uploaded this but I am in love with this song! Those who haven’t go listen to CHANDNI RAAT by Ali Sethi asap and thank me later. Also, this is a very very rare sight. I’m not getting married unless this song is played at my wedding! Period.” Take a look at the post.
In an earlier interview with India Today in December last year, Urfi Javed spoke about being targeted by people from her own religion. The Chandra Nandini actress had said, “I am a Muslim girl. Most of the hate comments I receive are from Muslim people. They say that I am tarnishing the image of Islam. They hate me because Muslim men want their women to behave in a certain way. They want to control all the women in the community. I don’t believe in Islam because of this. The reason why they troll me is because I don't behave the way they expect me to as per their religion.”
