Unlike Tejasswi Prakash, Simba Nagpal was hesitant about playing a father on Naagin 6; reveals ‘I was concerned’

Soon after Bigg Boss 15 came to an end, housemates and good friends Tejasswi Prakash and Simba Nagpal reunited on screen for Ekta Kapoor’s supernatural thriller series Naagin 6 . They won us over with their chemistry and charm, and left us fawning over their characters Pratha and Rishabh. Post a 20 year long leap, Tejasswi is now playing the dual role of mother and daughter. Simba, on the other hand, is now the father of Sarvashreshth Shesh Naagin Prarthana portrayed by Tejasswi.

In an earlier interview, Tejasswi had shared that she had no qualms about playing the character of a mother on-screen because she has a double role. This is because she is playing her own mother on-screen, not the parent of another actor. Well, Simba has now revealed that he was initially hesitant about playing the father of a 20 year old on the show. Talking to ETimes, he stated, “When I was told about the leap and my character, I was sceptical about playing a dad, but it wasn’t out of ego or insecurity.”

Simba went on to explain, “I was concerned about the character and how it would be shown on screen, but once I had clarity on that, I didn’t have a problem with it. Even if I play a father on screen, I want the character to be strong.” Well, the actor is happily married on Naagin 6, but does he have any plans of tying the knot in real life any time soon? Simba shared that he believes a person should be financially stable and ready to take up responsibilities before getting married. So for now, marriage is not on the cards for him.

Before Naagin 6 and Bigg Boss 15, Simba left many members of the audience drooling over his character Virat in Shakti - Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki.
