    Television actress Tunisha Sharma allegedly died by suicide on the set of her serial Ali Baba: Dastan E Kabul in Vasai in Maharashtra's Palghar district. The actress’ mother has lodged a complaint against her co-actor, Sheezan Mohammed Khan , following which he has been arrested by Waliv Police.

    The 20-year-old was found hanging in the washroom on the set of the Sony TV show. A case of abatement to suicide has been registered against her co-star Sheezan. He will be presented in court on Monday. Meanwhile, police have been probing the actress’ death from both murder and suicide angles.

    Tunisha on Saturday went to the washroom after a tea break while shooting. After she did not come out for a long time, the police had break open the door. The crew took her to the hospital where she was declared dead. In the wee hours of Sunday, the post-mortem was conducted in JJ Hospital, Naigaon till 4:30 am and 4-5 police personnel were also present. While those present on the sets said that she had died by suicide, however, police said they had not found any suicide note yet.

    Tunisha had shared a short reel on Instagram as she was getting ready on the sets a few hours before her death. She also shared a photo from the shoot set, and captioned it "Those who are driven by their Passion Doesn't stop." Several TV celebrities mourn the loss and dropped condolences messages on social media.

    Meanwhile, Tunisha started her acting career as a child artist in the Sony TV show 'Maharana Pratap'. She played the role of Chand Kanwar in the show. Later, she featured in several shows like Gabbar Poonchwala, Ishq Subhan Allah, Sher-e-Punjab: Maharaja Ranjit Singh, Chakravartin Ashoka Samrat, and Ishq Subhan Allah. She also played the role of Katrina Kaif’s childhood character in the movies. She also worked in movies Fitoor, Baar Baar Dekho, and many more.
