For all those who were worried about the whereabouts of the Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’s Gurucharan Singh aka Roshan Singh Sodhi, here is the news you all have been waiting for with bated breath. As per reports, the actor has finally returned home.
Reports state that, during the course of interrogation, the actor revealed that he had embarked on a ‘religious journey’, for which, he had left behind the worldly life. In addition to that, it is also being said that the actor had visited many Gurudwaras in various cities like Amritsar and Ludhiana. It was only after that the realisation dawned upon him that he needed to head back home, did he decide to come back, as per the statement given to the media personnel by the police officials.
The police officials also stumbled upon a fact that the 50-year-old actor Gurucharan Singh (who shot to overnight fame with his role of Roshan Singh Sodhi in the famous TV show Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah), also happened to be a follower of a sect which emphasizes on the importance of meditation in one’s life, and also the actor expressing in following the same in the Himalayas.
A tweet in ANI just confirmed the actor’s homecoming. The tweet stated, ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah fame actor Gurucharan Singh has returned home on 17 May. He had gone missing on 22nd April. The Police have recorded his statement in the court. Gurucharan Singh said he had gone away from home on a spiritual journey: Delhi Police’. The tweet was accompanied with a photograph of the actor along with an officer of the Delhi Police.
Only a few days back, since there was no news about Gurucharan Singh, his father Hargit Singh had filed a missing complaint on April 26. This was followed by a FIR being lodged under Section 365 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).
