Sidharth Shukla’s ex Shefali Jariwala remembers him as ‘yaaron ka yaar’; has still not come to terms with his demise

Exactly one year ago, our country lost a gem when television’s beloved superstar Sidharth Shukla breathed his last after a sudden heart attack at the age of 40. Sidharth’s untimely demise left his fans heartbroken, whereas his family and close ones were shattered. Some are still processing the fact that he isn’t amongst us anymore. One such person is his ex girlfriend, friend and Bigg Boss 13 co-star Shefali Jariwala . The two had known each other for over two decades and even dated briefly.

Speaking to ETimes about the late actor, Shefali shared that she sometimes goes blank thinking about his sudden demise and has still not come to terms with it. But she believes he lives on in our hearts and is smiling down at all of us. Remembering him, the actress shared, “I have not had an opportunity to work with him, but I have known him since our college days, which is 20 years. One thing about him is that he never changed in all these years. He was always fun-loving, dynamic, charming and a largehearted guy, and he loved his friends a lot. He was a yaaron ka yaar.”

Shefali and Sidharth met for the first time at an inter-college festival when they were in the 11th or 12th standard. They both had lost their best friends and that’s how they ended up connecting. Sid also taught her how to take trains! They lost touch but reconnected during their modeling days. Shefali was quoted saying, “We even dated for a brief period, but then we grew apart. However, we were always cordial when we met at any award function or event. And then we met in the Bigg Boss house three years ago and hit it off again.”

Sidharth may have left us, but his memories are still fresh. He will continue to be remembered by his fans till the end of time.
