‘Sid ka nam mat le’: Asim Riaz gets trolled for mentioning Bigg Boss 13 winner Sidharth Shukla at a concert; watch

Every year Bollywood’s Bhaijaan Salman Khan returns to our screen with a brand new season of Bigg Boss. Over the last decade, we have been introduced to so many different personalities. While some were loved by the audience, others were brutally trolled. But one season which made a permanent place in our hearts was Bigg Boss 13. May it be Sidharth Shukla and Shehnaaz Gill’s bond, former’s banter with Salman or Sidharth’s short-lived bromance with runner up Asim Riaz, everything about season 13 was special for audiences. The magic that they created was never recreated on the show.

Even though Sidharth is not amongst us anymore, he continues to live on in our hearts. We all know that there was one Sidharth Shukla and no one can take his place. That’s exactly what Asim reminded the crowd at a recent concert in Bangalore. A video of the same has now gone viral on social media. In this clip, while the audience cheers for him, Asim yells: “Nobody can take my place or Sidharth Shukla's.” Well, Asim’s viral video has received mixed reactions from fans.

Most agree with the fact that nobody can replace Sidharth. But fans are not happy with Asim taking his name along with Sidharth’s at the event. Many are now accusing him for using the late actor’s name for fame. For instance, one netizen wrote: “Sid ka nam mat le apne muh se... Tu bahut insult karta tha Sid…”, whereas another comment read: “He is right nobody can take Sidharth Shukla place and nobody can ever sidharth Shukla...❤️✨... Only thing he said wrong was adding his name ...🙀.” A third netizen shared, “Nobody can be Sidharth Shukla and everyone knows that! Stop taking your name with him. You only used him for your game and still are,” whereas another wrote: “Ab yeh siddarth shukla ke naam pe trp lega.”

Asim and Sidharth were best friends at the beginning of season 13. But things changed towards the end and their behaviour towards each other became extremely cold.
