Sheezan Khan's bail plea gets rejected in Tunisha Sharma's death case, latter's lawyer says 'he was just using her'
Sheezan Khan's bail plea has been rejected in Tunisha Sharma's death case. The actor to remain in jail for the time being.
It seems that there is no sign of relief for actor Sheezan Khan in the death case of his Ali Baba: Daastan-E-Ishq co-star and ex-girlfriend Tunisha Sharma . The actor’s bail plea has been rejected by the Vasai court today (January 13). Earlier, Tunisha’s lawyer was spotted before the session started wherein he revealed that he was hoping to get justice for the late actress.
According to a news report by India TV, Tunisha’s lawyer opposed Sheezan’s bail plea at the hearing stating that he was not cooperating with the police investigation in the case. The lawyer further stated that Sheezan was responsible for driving the actress to suicide. It was further alleged that the Jodha Akbar actor lied to Tunisha about many things while they were dating and that the latter was shattered after their breakup, thus taking the fatal step of taking her own life.
Tunisha Sharma’s lawyer Tarun Sharma was quoted to say in the hearing, “All the photos found are found on Tunisha's Instagram. Nothing has been found on Sheezan's Instagram handle. It means Sheezan didn't love her. He was just using her.” This has resulted in the actor remaining in jail. Earlier, Sheezan’s sister and actress Falaq Naaz shared a picture with him and captioned it stating, “Always with him standing tall and strong no matter what! Beshak Allah sabki niyat se waqif hai. Sabr.” Take a look at the same.
Post Tunisha’s tragic suicide on December 24, 2022, her mother Vanita Sharma had filed a police complaint against Sheezan for abetment of suicide and went on to give several allegations against him. She accused him of cheating on her daughter, exploiting her, and also hitting her in one instance. Furthermore, he and his family were also alleged to coax Tunisha to convert to Islam. However, Sheezan’s family had held a press conference and rubbished all the allegations against him.
