Shark Tank India: Namita Thapar promotes Vineeta Singh’s cosmetic brand, latter says ‘most gorgeous influencer ever’
Namita Thapar has become a household name ever since she appeared as a judge on reality show, Shark Tank India.
Emcure Pharmaceuticals CEO Namita Thapar turned cheerleader for her Shark Tank India co-judge Vineeta Singh. The pharma queen gave a shout to her Sugar Cosmetics brand in a throwback video she shared on social media.
Taking to Instagram, Namita posted a series of behind-the-scenes clips where she can be seen applying the lipstick of Sugar cosmetics. She also reminisced about the reality show’s shooting days. “Adore my co shark @vineetasng, enjoying her @trysugar lipsticks during the shoot..BTS masti backstage & in my vanity van, what memories! Thx to her team for sharing the video & pics :) #sisterhood #womeninspiringwomen,” she captioned the post.
As soon the video surfaced online, Vineeta was quick to respond with the comment, “You’re such a STUNNER! The most gorgeous @trysugar influencer ever”. The sisterhood between the two successful entrepreneurs even took the netizens by surprise and they also dropped comments like, “Ek cofounder dusri founder ka product use kar rhi h”( one co-founder using product of another founder) that's the kind of friendship India have”, “Business women turn into actress” among others.
While few of them took a jibe at Namita’s famous lines- ‘Isme meri expertise Nahi’ from the show, and wrote, “Iss sugar cosmetic me meri koi expertise nahi hai so i am out but wish you all the best”( I have no expertise on sugar cosmetic that’s why I am out). Another user wrote, “Lipstick lagane main meri expertise hai iss wajah se main in hu”(I have expertise in applying lipstick that's why I am in). The other user commented,”Mam aap to kuch bhi laga lo acchi hi lagogi kyu ki isme aapki expertise h.”(Ma'am, whatever you put in, it will be good because you have your expertise in it).
Meanwhile, the first season of Shark Tank India started airing in December 2021 and concluded in February this year. The show aspires entrepreneurs from India to pitch their business models to a panel of investors and convince them to invest money in their start-up business idea.
