Shark Tank India 3: Zomato CEO Deepinder Goyal joins the panel, Anupam Mittal gives him a hilarious welcome; watch

After two glorious seasons which left audiences wanting more, Shark Tank India is all set to return to our screens with a much awaited third season. Fans were obviously sad to learn that season one’s beloved shark Ashneer Grover won’t be returning to the panel again. But we are no less than delighted to see Anupam Mittal (Founder and CEO of Shaadi.com), Aman Gupta (Co-Founder and CMO of boAt), Namita Thapar (Executive Director of Emcure Pharmaceuticals), Amit Jain (CEO and Co-founder of CarDekho Group), Vineeta Singh (CEO and Co-founder of SUGAR Cosmetics) and Peyush Bansal (Founder and CEO of Lenskart.com) back in action! Well, this time there are two new sharks in the sea.

Last week we were officially introduced to OYO Rooms founder Ritesh Agarwal, who joined the panel as an investor for the coming season. Well, makers have now revealed that Zomato CEO Deepinder Goyal will also be seen as a shark this time. A new promo was launched on social media which left netizens super excited. The new sharks got a warm welcome from audiences. But Deepinder also got a bonus welcome video all thanks to his fellow shark Anupam. In the behind the scenes clip, Anupam walks towards the new shark and hands him vadapav from a famous restaurant in Mumbai.

While handing him the treat, Anupam stated: “From your platform, paid for by Shark Tank India. That's a Mumbai welcome.” Along with this video, he penned a caption which said: “Badi badi baatein, par hum bhi vadapav khatein 😋Welcome to apun ka ilaka 🤜🦈🤛.” In the comment section below, Zomato was the first to reply with a hilarious message. It read: “can confirm that the vada pav was delivered on time ✌️.”

Well, we can’t wait to see the new as well as the seasoned sharks in action when Shark Tank India 3 finally premieres!
