So far, sharks from season 1, Peyush Bansal, Aman Gupta, Anupam Mittal, Vineeta Singh and Namita Thapar have been running the show since it returned on TV after a blockbuster debut in 2021. Shark Tank India season 2 started airing on 2 January with ex Bharat Pe founder and CEO Ashneer Grover cutting chords with the show.

Ever since Amit Jain was announced by the channel to be replacing Ashneer on the show, apprehensions have been voiced by fans on social media regarding the show’s entertainment factor which the former ‘shark’ supplied in abundance.

While it is apparent that Ashneer’s journey with the show and the sharks did not end on an amicable note, Amit has established through interviews preceding the season that he isn’t anything like the former judge whose presence fans already seem to be missing.
