Shark Tank India 2 judge Namita Thapar reveals why trolling doesn't affect her, netizens feel inspired
Just like the first season of Shark Tank India, Namita is being trolled for rejecting offers citing her expertise in the ongoing second season. In the latest social post, she revealed that despite vicious trolling why she didn't get off trolling.
Namita Thapar has returned as the judge on the second season of the business reality show Shark Tank India. The Emcure Pharmaceuticals’ executive director continues to invest money in start-ups to which she can relate and have expertise. In the previous season, she triggered meme fest with her one-liners like ‘isme meri expertise nahi’ and many others on the show. In the ongoing second season, she is being trolled for rejecting offers citing the same reason. However, the actress doesn’t get affected by the negative feedback she gets on her social media posts or by sharing her vulnerabilities. In the latest Instagram post, she gave the reason behind it via a video wherein she is seen talking about her book, The Dolphin and the Shark: Stories on Entrepreneurship.
In the recently shared video, Namita spoke about her struggles and why she rejected the idea of her family of not expressing her vulnerabilities out and loud on public platforms. “Sometimes you have to show your vulnerabilities to help people. I have spoken about a lot of hard phases in my life much against my family's wishes. Today because of Shark Tank, I have a voice, and people are willing to listen to me. And if I can’t use this voice responsibly to break these taboos and talk about my own setbacks and failures, how this voice is even useful, ” she said in an excerpt of the video. Sharing the video, she wrote, “This 1 min video is why I don’t get off social media inspite of the vicious trolling that doesn’t even spare a sweet teenager :) link to interview in bio. Have a super week ahead !” Check the post here:
