Shark Tank India 2: Anupam Mittal loses his temper, Peyush Goyal makes an unbelievable offer to a pitcher

In the upcoming episode of Shark Tank India season 2, the sharks are going to lock horns over a pitch. In the recent promo shared by Sony TV’s official Instagram page, Lenskart.com co-founder Peyush Goyal could be seen getting too competitive and making a huge counteroffer to a pitcher that leaves fellow judges in disbelief. On the other hand, Shaadi.com co-founder Anupam Mittal gets into an altercation with Emcure Pharmaceuticals co-founder Namita Thapar.

The promo starts with Peyush Bansal changing the game for everyone as he offers 65 lakhs for 1 percent equity to a hair-colour brand pitch. However, he keeps a condition that they accept it quickly. Amazed by the counter-offer, SUGAR cosmetics co-founder Vineeta Singh says, “ye kya kar rahe ho aap”(What are you doing). To which he replies, “Meri Marzi”. On the other hand, Anupam tells one of the pitchers, “I think it is messy and dirty” but Namita disagrees. He disgustingly hits back at her saying, “It doesn’t matter what you think.”

The upcoming episode will have start-up brands–Paradyse, Haqdarshak, GunjanApp Studios, and AyuSynk, pitching their ideas to the sharks for funding. Further in the promo, Anupam could be seen saying to AyuSynk entrepreneurs, that they are indeed doing innovations but it is actually a solution that is looking for problems. Sharks are shocked by Paradyse’s turnover of 800 crores. Sharing the promo, the Sony TV channel wrote, “When the SHARKS become SHARKY!” The promo has piqued the interest of fans. One of them wrote, “Ab hoga ghamasaan” Another laughed at Peyush’s comment, “Meri Marzi”

Meanwhile, the second season of the business reality show features a new judge in place of Ashneer Grover (former BharatPe founder). He is replaced by the CEO of CarDekho.com Amit Jain. Also, the co-founder of Mamaearth, Ghazal Alagh has also made an exit from the show.
