Shark Tank India 2: Aman Gupta's wife warned him 'people will try to be you' on the show after season 1, he says 'I could see that happening'
Aman Gupta says that while he has not changed after Shark Tank India season 1, he could see people trying to be more like him on season 2.
BoAt Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) and co-founder Aman Gupta is returning as an investor and mentor on Shark Tank India season 2. Hailed as one of the most impressive sharks of season 1, Aman has now spoken about his preparation for season 2 of the business based reality show.
In an extended promo of Shark Tank India season 2, Aman spoke about the changes with which he approaches the new season and he affirmed that the fans of the show will still find him to be the same person he was in season 1. Aman, however, said that he feels that he has become a better investor post the first season of Shark Tank India where working on the businesses he invested in and working alongside the other sharks helped him wider his horizons and gain perspective.
Speaking about following up on the success of season 1, Aman said that it was his father who told him to remain himself like he has always been on the show. He also added that his wife also complimented him on how his personality was positively reflected in Shark Tank India season 1 because he was being himself but she also warned him, ‘Now people will try to be you’ and asked him not to get frustrated with that.
Aman further said that he could see people mimicking him from season 1 on Shark Tank India season 2 and added that he still continues to be himself on the show. While Aman did not take names of anyone, we wonder who h could be referring to.
On Shark Tank India season 1, Aman was the shark who made the most investment on the show. The BoAt co-founder invested a total of Rs 9.358 crore in 28 deals on the reality show. Aman also came to be known for jovial personality, filmy references and interest in supporting young entrepreneurs.
Shark Tank India season 2 commences on Sony TV from January 2.
