Shark Tank India 2 fame Aman Gupta has often proved that he is a Bollywood buff. In the first season of the reality show, he used several references from Hindi films and movies, which spoke a volume about his personality. In the ongoing second season, the BoAt co-founder once again got filmy and remembered Bollywood actor Chunky Panday’s dialogues during a pitch. Even his co-judge Namita Thapar joined the fun.
It so happened during the pitch of a freshly-made cheese brand that Sharks began talking in the Italian language. Anupam Mittal began by asking, “Si par italiano” to which pitcher replied, “Italiano”. And Aman interrupts, “Mama mia” and co-Sharks burst into laughter. Peyush Bansal quipped, “Unse zyada tumko aati hogi Italian”, and Aman explained “Chunky Panday ne ek picture me bola tha”, and Namita added, “I am a joking” with the same accent. Following them, the pitcher said, “Akhri pasta” and Aman repeated it in the same accent as Chunky in the movie Housefull. Watch the video here:
The last episode of the business reality show witnessed several sun fun moments during pitches from liquor brands, electric vehicle subscription models, and cheese brands among others. Anupam Mittal evoked laughter when he showed interest in one of the pitchers’ tailored suit and its perfect stitching. “Lekin apka tailor kaun hai uska address lekar rahunga,” he said. Even Aman made fun of the name of the brand, ‘Nawgati’ He said, “Naw mane boat” but the pitcher said it is Sankrit word. Amit Jain interrupted saying, “aapko bolna chhiye boat, taaki Aman ek dam interested ho jaye.” Meanwhile, Shark Tank India returned with its second season in the month of January this year. It airs every Monday to Friday on SonyLiv and SonyTV . The judges from the first season has reprised their role except for Ashneer Grover, who is replaced by Amit Jain.
