'Seems like guy forgot to age': Juhi Parmar and Hussain Kuwajerwala mark 21 years of Kumkum with a dance, netizens react

Television’s most loved onscreen couple Juhi Parmar and Hussain celebrated 21 years of Kumkum with a special dance. Not only they marked the milestone, but they also cherished their ‘Tom and Jerry wali’ friendship. Juhi on Friday took to Instagram to share the dance video and penned a long note describing her bond with Hussain.

In the video, Juhi and Hussain revived their sizzling chemistry for fans as they grooved to the song Banke Tera Jogi from Shah Rukh Khan’s Phir Bhi Dil Hai Hindustani. Their surprised fan left compliments in the comment section. “Perfect jodi,” said one of the fans. Another added, “Nostalgia!!! bachpan k din yaad a gaye when we used to come back from school and watch kumkum with mama.” However, some of the netizens also pointed out that Hussain hasn’t aged at all. “Damn ! Meanwhile, Juhi’s long note read, “21 Years of Kumkum also means 21 years of our friendship. We met on the sets of Kumkum and the rest is history. The audience saw the chemistry onscreen. But for us it was also our friendship behind the scenes..where we laughed and laughed and had the best time together. We sometimes don’t meet for years and even talk on the phone but when we do, it never seems like there’s ever been a gap. Its seamless and that’s the beauty of our friendship! Same crazy banters, laugh riot and nonstop chatters.Bas aur kya chahiye. Our Tom and Jerry wali friendship started at the same time when Sumit Kumkum became everyone’s most loved onscreen jodi. And I hope it remains the same.”

Kumkum-Ek Pyaar Sa Bandhan premiered in 2002 on Star Plus, and features Juhi and Hussain as Kumkum and Sumit. Produced under the company BAG films, the show ran until 2009 and still loved by many.
