Rubina Dilaik reveals she and Abhinav Shukla are expecting twins, recalls a horrifying accident during her pregnancy

Rubina Dilaik gave happy news to her fans that she and her husband Abhinav Shukla are expecting twins. The actress who is currently in the third trimester of her pregnancy revealed the same on her Youtube show, Kisine Bataya Nahi - The Mamacado Show. However, she also recalled getting into a horrifying accident after three months of her pregnancy which she called her worst nightmare.

Talking about the same, Rubina said that it was a surreal feeling when she and Abhinav got to know that they were pregnant with twins. However, the first three months were very crucial for them as they learned that many miscarriages happen if one is not careful during this phase. She also revealed that there is also a chance that one of the fetuses might perish in the first three months so they had to be extremely careful and not tell their family members about the same.

Adding to it, the Chhoti Bahu actress said that after three months, she went for her first scan wherein she saw the two tiny organs growing inside her which she described as an overwhelming feeling. However, while returning home from the same, Rubina had a bad accident wherein a truck came and rammed into her car from the back. She also banged her head in the process. She felt extremely terrified not only for herself but also for her twins. Rubina and Abhinav went for an emergency sonography to know whether the babies were safe but thankfully they were. However, the incident was nothing less than an ugly nightmare for the couple.

The Shakti: Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki actress said that she is maintaining a strict diet to avoid the risk of gestational diabetes and high blood pressure. She also visits the doctor every 15 days to ensure that both babies are growing healthy. Rubina admitted that the pregnancy phase is certainly not easy but she is also not complaining because she is truly feeling blessed.
