‘Real ki naagin’: Divya Agarwal gets trolled for revealing she wanted to marry Apurva even before she met Varun Sood

Divya Agarwal and Varun Sood’s break up was as public as their relationship. They had a huge fan following as a couple, so many hearts were obviously broken when they decided to part ways. As the two never shared a reason with their fans, many netizens made vague guesses. But last year on her 30th birthday when Divya got engaged to her mystery man Apurva Padgaonkar, many trolls accused her of cheating on Varun. Well, Divya has now revealed that she met Apurva many years before she dated Varun. In fact, even back then, she knew she wanted to marry Apurva one day.

In an explosive chat with Amrita Rao and her husband RJ Anmol, Divya revealed that she and Apurva first met after she won the Miss Navi Mumbai pageant. She felt he was an exact copy of her father and even confessed her desire to marry him on their first date. But Apruva had no plans to settle down so they left the bond loose. One day she realized that hanging on was a problem as she was unable to move forward in life. They basically pressed pause and then Splitsvilla happened where she met Priyank Sharma. Post her break up with Priyank, Divya found love again in Varun.

She shared that after her father’s untimely demise in 2021, she realized she was very lonely. Divya felt she was always the ‘man of the relationship’ and had no one to take care of her. That’s when Apurva came back in her life. Eventually Divya started feeling she was being unfair to Varun, because she had feelings and complex emotions for Apurva. So they broke up. In the comment section of Amrita and Divya’s Instagram post of this chat, many netizens have yet again trolled Divya.

One nasty comment read: “Isko koi schaa pyar nhi hota dramebaaz ek no. Ki.....real ki naagin .....bhagye Varun and priyank isse m priyank ko galat smjti thi but yeh real golddigger h”, whereas another troll wrote: “Toh Varun ko qu date kiya isne....if she wanted to get married to him.. like seriously man These guys just play games in the name of love...or inki vjh se dusri ladkiyo ko bhi glt bolna shuru kr dete h sb.” But many came out in Divya’s support as well. For instance, a fan wrote: “Priyank k sath uski girl friends ko sambhala , varun k sath varun ko as he behaves like bacha party, play games jisko pampering chahye and apurv is that man jo divya ko sambhal raha hai I mean calm down guys we all need a man jo hamara khayal rakhe Sory divya you speak soo openly so as us..”
