Rashami Desai reaches out to Mumbai police after Umar Riaz’s fans troll her; latter asks netizens to relax

Soon after Rashami Desai entered the Bigg Boss 15 house as a challenger, Karan Kundrra began teasing her with Umar Riaz ’s name. Umar and Rashami, who became friends through Asim Riaz, have known each other since quite long. Their chemistry was evident but while they admitted they liked each other, they decided to wait till they were out of the reality show to see where it goes. Post BB, Umar and Rashami were often spotted hanging out together along with their good friends Neha Bhasin and Rajiv Adatia. However, they did not openly talk about the bond they shared. Well, recently Rashami revealed that Umar may already have someone in his life.

In an interview with Siddharth Kannan, Rashami stated, “I think Umar must be having somebody and he is very personal about his life. We respect that boundary, I think people love me with him and I understand that, I respect that. But we're just friends, and the kind of bond we have- we fight a lot. We have disagreements about everything.” Well, Umar’s fans were not happy with the fact that Rashami spoke about his love life in her interview. Well, Rashami has had enough and after hitting back at a few trolls, she decided to reach out to the Mumbai Police. The Dil Se Dil Tak actress tweeted: “@MahaCyber1 @cyber @MumbaiPolice my pets request plz look in to the matter because ther are harming me and my family image and it’s the actual fandom or on purpose m getting harassment. My family is getting dragged and it’s a harassment @MumbaiPolice @CybercrimeCID.” Umar also took to his official handle to request netizens to relax and spread love, not hate.

During the interview, Rashami also spoke about her own love life. The actress made it clear that she is not looking for love at the moment because she does not feel she needs it. She’s happy with the people around her and is not desperate to find a partner. Rashami added that if it happens, it happens but if it doesn’t then also she’s fine.
